One of the best features of Mission and the surrounding area is the abundance of nature. This November 21st and 22nd Mission will partake in the celebration of one of the Fraser Valley’s most majestic creatures, the bald eagle, and the cycle of the salmon during the Fraser River Bald Eagle Festival. This festival is a charity that dedicates its time to honouring these creatures and their environment. During the two day festival guests can learn about the eagles, salmon and their habitat on the Fraser River from speakers, join a boat or walking tour, view wildlife & artistic displays, enjoy entertainment and much more.  This festival is a great experience for anyone who appreciates nature and the historical connection it has had on the Fraser Valley.
