The District of Mission has joined forces with Mennonite Central Committee to host a benefit concert to help raise funds to raise awareness of and to address the refugee crisis in Syria and Iraq. MCC has over two dozen projects already assisting with food, rent, clothing and more. Among the many projects MCC is also helping children who are displaced find education and support for people who have experienced trauma. The benefit concert will take place on Thursday, January 21st at the Clarke Theatre. The concert will feature performances by Brandon Isaak, Bryan O’Ruanaidh Band and Lazer Katz. There will also be a silent auction and door prizes.
