The Fraser Valley real estate market continued to see a surge in new listings this month, showing signs of a balancing market and providing much needed optimism for prospective homebuyers. The FVREB processed 2,580 of all property sales this month, a 22.5% decrease compared to this month last year.
The Board processed 2,580 sales of all property types on its Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in March 2022. 83 sales took place in Mission — a 27% increase from February 2022. 69 detached homes were sold in March 2022, compared to 90 in March 2021. The sales of townhomes saw a slight increase while the sales of apartments remained mostly the same.
Active listings in Mission for detached homes and townhomes increased by 61.7% and 275% respectively compared to this month last year.

Sales of all property types in Mission increased by 27.3% compared to February 2022.
Mission’s Benchmark Price for detached homes in March 2022 was $1,285,200 compared to $887,500 in March 2021, a remarkable increase of 44.8%.
