The real estate market continued to show signs of improvement as the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board saw a record-breaking 75% increase of new listings compared to January 2022. The FVREB processed 1,824 of all property sales this month, a 35% decrease compared to this month last year.
The Board processed 1,824 sales of all property types on its Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in February 2022. 63 sales took place in Mission — a 45% increase from January 2022. 52 detached homes were sold in February 2022, compared to 80 in February 2021. The sales of townhomes saw an increase while the sales of apartments saw a 44% decrease compared to January 2022.
Active listings in Mission for detached homes and townhomes increased by 109.4% and 60% respectively compared to this month last year.

Mission’s Benchmark Price for detached homes in February 2022 was $1,253,900 compared to $822,800 in February 2021, a remarkable increase of 52.4%.
