What’s New for Real Estate in 2018?

With the change to mortgage rules in Canada, many have shied away from considering buying their first home, and some believe that putting their house on the market right now might not be wise. I am here to explain how the changes to mortgages and real estate may or may not affect your buying and selling experience.

Tougher rules for mortgage lending assures that buyers will be able to afford their homes even if rates rise, so it means that Realtors are essential to help them get the most for their money.

For sellers, it means people coming to the table with an offer will have done their homework and are confident of what they can afford.

These changes mean examining your financial situation a little closer, but it certainly doesn’t have to stop you achieving your dreams and goals for 2018.

My Goal for 2018?
